UPDATE!!
Amelia is now at home recovering and
is doing well. She still has a long ways to go
but is definatly a survivor! We are all thinking of you and your amily Amelia!
Our friend and Youth Representative Amelia McInness, 19, is in critical condition
after a head-on car accident on Saturday November 28.
Amelia and her boyfriendKyle were on their way to ride their horses in the
Carleton Place Santa Claus parade, setting out in Amelia's car with the horses
to arrive later they became involved in a collision.

As of December 1, Amelia was still only able to
communicate through the squeezing of hands;
she suffered server head trauma and internal
bleeding to some of her major organs.
Amelia is in the ICU at the Ottawa Civic Hospital,
it has been reported by friends, that doctors have
stopped the internal bleeding, however there are
still other serious concerns, and she is not out of
the woods yet. Unfortunately her boyfriend Kyle
did not make it through this horrible tragedy.
On behalf of The Horse-A-Rama Club we send
out our thoughts and Prayers to the McInnes
andSimpson families, and wish Amelia a full and
speedy recovery.
A trust fund has been set up to help the McInnes family.
Donations can be made atany Royal Bank under the name
Cheryl McInnes, and are also being taken by
Charlotte Sim at Wicksteed Tack Shop 613.257.0045 on Hwy #7 in Carleton Place.
There is also a networking group established on facebook to send your thought and
best wishes to Amelia and family. To date there is 646 members.
